We are searching for an individual to join our Marketing team reporting to the Business Development Marketing Manager. This role will focus on customer acquisition, lead generation and prospect management. This position can be located in NY, MD, KY, IL, CT, DC, TN, Fl, VA, MA, PA, GA, VT, DE, OH or TX.
The Business Development Associate will play a key role in developing, nurturing and managing sales opportunities. This role works closely with the marketing and sales teams to strategize in the relationship building and sales process. Heavy focus on client acquisition, lead generation, prospect management and sales support.
• Identify and develop leads for Account Executives to sell technology services.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to develop individual territory goals and strategies.
• Prospect for leads utilizing business intelligence tools, Kraft Kennedy database, LinkedIn, Google, and other general online and traditional search tools.
• Perform lead-generating activities including calls, emails, and data gathering.
• Consistently achieve activity targets.
• Responsible for CRM hygiene, including updating, cleansing and organizing.
• Generate clear, concise messaging for outreach (one-to-one emails).
• Work closely with Marketing to develop sales material and content.
• Meet continuous learning, training and development objectives.
• Develop an understanding of Kraft Kennedy services.
• Some event planning required.
• Some travel may be required.
Qualifications
• 4-year college degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Inside sales experience is preferred. (Sales internship is sufficient)
• Ability to learn quickly and use new technology.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to juggle multiple tasks and projects.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, accountability and curiosity.
• Familiarity with HubSpot is helpful but not required.
Compensation
The base pay for this position has a salary range of $45,000 to $55,000. The actual salary offer will take in to account a wide range of factors including the individual’s qualifications, experience as well as location. In addition, certain positions are eligible for bonuses or commissions.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
